Description
MRI SPINE TWO REGIONS is an imaging study that focuses on two adjacent areas of the spine in a single examination. This usually involves imaging either the cervical and thoracic spine together, or the thoracic and lumbar spine. The procedure uses strong magnetic fields and radio waves to generate high-resolution images of the spinal cord, vertebrae, intervertebral discs, and surrounding soft tissues in the selected regions. This approach is particularly useful when symptoms or conditions span two spinal areas, allowing for a more comprehensive evaluation than a single-region scan. It can help diagnose various spinal disorders such as disc herniations, spinal stenosis, tumors, and degenerative changes that may affect multiple levels of the spine.
