Description
The Post-Lunch Blood Sugar (PLBS) test measures glucose levels 2 hours after eating a meal. It assesses how effectively the body processes glucose after food intake. This test is particularly useful in diagnosing diabetes and evaluating the effectiveness of diabetes management strategies. PLBS helps identify individuals who may have normal fasting glucose but impaired glucose tolerance, a risk factor for developing type 2 diabetes.
