The DPD-5FU sensitivity test is a genetic assay that measures the activity of the dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase (DPD) enzyme. This enzyme is responsible for metabolizing 5-fluorouracil (5-FU), a commonly used chemotherapy drug.
