Description
Dementia MRI Brain is a specialized, multi-sequence MRI study designed to assess brain changes associated with dementia. It combines various imaging techniques (T1, T2, FLAIR, DWI, ADC, SWI) with contrast enhancement to provide a comprehensive evaluation of brain structure and function. This scan can detect atrophy patterns, vascular changes, and other abnormalities characteristic of different types of dementia. It’s particularly useful in differentiating Alzheimer’s disease from other forms of dementia, assessing the extent of vascular damage, and monitoring disease progression. The multiple sequences allow for detailed analysis of brain tissue, blood flow, and potential areas of injury or degeneration.
