Description
Papsmear by Liquid-Based Cytology (LBC) Method is an advanced technique for cervical cancer screening. Unlike traditional Papsmears, LBC uses a special liquid medium to preserve the cells collected from the cervix. This method provides clearer, more representative samples by removing blood, mucus, and non-diagnostic debris. LBC improves the accuracy of detecting cervical abnormalities and reduces the likelihood of unsatisfactory samples. It also allows for additional testing, such as HPV testing, on the same sample if needed.
