Description
MRI Orbit is a specialized imaging technique that provides detailed pictures of the eye, eye socket (orbit), and surrounding structures. It uses powerful magnets and radio waves to create cross-sectional images. This non-invasive procedure is excellent for detecting tumors, inflammation, infection, or other abnormalities in the eye area. It’s particularly useful for evaluating optic nerve disorders, eye muscle problems, and orbital masses. The scan typically takes 30-45 minutes and doesn’t use radiation.
